Gov Abdulrazaq nominates Jawondo, Agbaje, others as Commissioners

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, has forwarded the names of six commissioner-nominees to the Kwara State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

Recall that the governor had, on September 17, sent the names of three female nominees to the State Assembly.

The first set of appointees were: Joana Nnazua Kolo from Edu local government area, Mrs. Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu (Ilorin-South), Arinola Fatimoh Lawal (Ilorin-East) and Aisha Ahman-Pategi (Patigi).

Governor Abdulrazaq also appointed Mrs. Folashade Omoniyi from Irepodun local government area as the Chairperson of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS).

The latest nominees include: Barrister Salman Jawondo from Asa local government area, Aliyu Sabi (Baruten), Dr. Raji Rasaq (Ekiti), Architect Aliyu Muhammed (Kiama), Wahab Agbaje (Offa) and Muritala Olarewaju (Oyun).
