No fewer than 30 travelers have been gruesomely killed by Boko Haram terrorists in Auno, a town linking Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

It was gathered that the insurgents, who stormed the Auno expressway on Sunday night, left many vehicles in ruins while abducting scores of women and children.

The State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, on Monday visited the scene of the incident, where he restated his administration’s commitment and that of the Federal Government to ending insurgency in the country.
