Nigeria’s Covid-19 cases hit 10819 as 117 more patients recover, 15 die

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 241 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 10819.

The NCDC, in a tweet on Tuesday night disclosed that more than half of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, with 12 other states and the Federal Capital Territory amassing a total of 99 new infections.

The agency also reported 15 new Covid-19-related fatalities, adding that 117 more patients had recovered from the virus, bringing the nationwide recovery toll to 3239.
