INSIDER had earlier reported an alleged plan by the Kwara State government to sell off a part of Kwara hotels.

At the time, our source hinted that Harmony Holdings, the investment firm owned by the Kwara State government had forwarded a letter to the present occupiers of the spaces that are scheduled for sale.

Our follow up on the story has revealed that the staff of the hotel who occupied a quarter located on the portions earmarked for sale have been issued quit notice to vacate the apartment.

A letter dated September 7, 2020 signed by the Human Resources Manager of the hotel, Shittu Kayode Kamal said the State government is in need of the staff quarter for an undisclosed construction project.

“We therefore require that you vacate the staff quarter by 23rd September, 2020,” the two paragraph letter concludes.
