The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken a bold step towards addressing internal conflicts by summoning the ex-Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike to appear before its disciplinary committee.
According to Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, the party has sent a formal letter to Wike, requesting his presence to answer allegations of anti-party activities and sabotage.
This development comes amidst growing concerns within the party about Wike’s perceived disloyalty and criticisms of the party’s leadership. The PDP has been working to resolve its internal conflicts and ensure unity among its members ahead of future elections.
By summoning Wike, the party’s disciplinary committee aims to investigate the allegations and take appropriate action to maintain discipline and cohesion within the party.
The move has sparked interest among political observers, who are watching to see how the situation unfolds and what implications it may have for the PDP’s future.
