The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation has provided educational support to 200 orphans from public schools across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State. The lucky beneficiaries received essential educational materials, including school bags, books, and tuition fees.
Mallam Musa Aliyu, the North Central Regional Director of the organization, emphasized that this initiative is just one part of their broader commitment to education in Kwara State and beyond. The foundation also offers scholarship programs for brilliant but indigent students in tertiary institutions across the state.
Aliyu stressed that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and transforming communities. “The foundation is dedicated to ensuring that all children, regardless of their background, receive the education they deserve,” he said.
The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation is open to partnerships and collaborations with like-minded individuals, organizations, and institutions, Aliyu added.
One beneficiary of the foundation’s educational support is 12-year-old Aisha. According to her guardian, the provision of school bags, books, and tuition fees has been a game-changer.
“Aisha was struggling to keep up with her schoolwork because she didn’t have the necessary materials,” her guardian said. “But now, thanks to the foundation, she can focus on her studies and pursue her dreams of becoming a doctor. We are so thankful for the foundation’s support and kindness.”
Aisha’s story is just one of many, as the foundation’s initiative has brought hope and opportunity to countless young lives across Kwara State.
