EFCC Arrests 44 Alleged ‘Yahoo Boys’ in Ilorin

In a coordinated operation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 44 suspected internet fraudsters in various locations across Ilorin, Kwara State.

The suspects were apprehended on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Sango, Kulende, Taxaco, and Harmony Estate, following a tip-off on their alleged involvement in internet-related offenses.

During the raid, EFCC operatives recovered several items, including six exotic cars of different brands, laptops, smartphones, and charms.

The suspects will face charges in court once investigations are completed, as the EFCC continues its efforts to combat internet fraud and cybercrime in Nigeria.
