A Kwara-based digital marketing brand, Digprom has unveiled its first set of trainees after rounding off its widely publicized “Learn Digital in Kwara” program.
INSIDER learnt that a total of 16 trainees participated in the two-week-long exercise.
According to the lead convener, Ishola Kayode, instruction was delivered on the fundamentals of digital marketing with focus on Social media marketing (Paid and Organic), Content creation, Search Engine Optimization and Marketing.
Other topics covered, include: Email Marketing, Ecommerce and Social Commerce, Blogging, Analytics, Display Advertising as well as online reputation management.
In his remarks, Kayode enjoined the trainees to replicate the knowledge garnered in developing businesses, adding that digital skills also improves ones chances of securing paid employment since it enjoys high demand from recruiters.
Mr Abdulazeez Abdulrazaq, a dignitary at the graduation event lauded the initiative as well as the participants on the usefulness of the training.
One of the trainees, Ms. Halima Gegele commended the initiators of the program for bringing the initiative to Kwara. She noted that the knowledge acquired in digital marketing will give her fashion business a facelift.
Other participants also expressed their enthusiasm to hit the ground running with the information they’ve acquired.
Learn Digital in Kwara, was launched by Digprom on August 19, 2019 with a total of 16 participants.
Registration is said to be ongoing for the second cohort which kicks off in September.
