Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on Monday morning enrolled his six-year-old son, Abubakar Al-Siddique as a pupil of Capital School, a public primary school in Kaduna.
Governor El-Rufai in a tweet today, noted that the decision was borne out of his administration’s deep-seated commitment towards fixing public education and raising the standard of public schools in the state.
The governor had, on December 28, 2017 announced on his Twitter page that his son, Al-Siddique who was four years old at the time would be enrolled in a public school in Kaduna when he attains the age of six.
Reforming the Education sector in Kaduna is a continuing struggle against decades of neglect. But the @elrufai govt has a strong commitment to fix public education and raise the standard of public schools so that private education will become only a luxury. pic.twitter.com/mkKPKAjZZI
