A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has posted some documents claiming the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) transmitted the results of the February 23, presidential election electronically.
Omokri, who had earlier boasted of having proof that the server was used during the presidential poll, released a document on his official Twitter handle yesterday which contains state-by-state breakdown of compliance with returning of presidential elections data to the server.
He wrote, ”This is a circular from INEC to its 36 Resident Electoral Commissioners, threatening sanctions on RECs who fail to send data to INEC HQ through their server. INCONTROVERTIBLE evidence @INECNigeria has and had a server.

This is a damning evidence. However, in the Evidence Act 2011, this evidence may be inadmissible since it was not tendered as exhibit or led in evidence by the petitioners, PDP and Atiku and INEC. However, the petitioners may still seize this opportunity and approach the court with it.
