Jagunlabi Foundation has distributed food items to the needy, including aged and widow, in Ekiti local government area of Kwara State.

The foundation, founded by philanthropist, Barrister Abiola Yinus Abdulkareem said the gesture was to support the downtrodden during the festive season and help to alleviate their suffering.

Sharing the gift items which include rice, live chicken, groundnut oil, cooking ingredients, cash among others; the head of the distribution team, Mrs. Aisha Alabi Abd’Lateef said Jagunlabi Foundation and its founder are concerned about putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged and “give them cause to celebrate joyously in their various homes.”

Continuing, Mrs. Abd’Lateef extends the felicitations of the Foundation to all Christian faithful, noting that offering support during this season is the least expected of all those who are privileged in the society.

“While we find joy in putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged, from all of us at Jagunlabi Foundation, we wish everyone Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance,” she said.

On their part, the beneficiaries, who expressed joy and appreciation to the Founder of the Foundation, Barrister Abdulkareem, and his team prayed for continued elevation and success.
