As the world celebrates children’s day, the Kwara governor-elect has assured that his government would pay close attention to the welfare of children in the state.
In a statement by his media adviser, Rafiu Ajakaye, the incoming Governor said the progress any society would make is directly proportional to the extent of attention it pays to the welfare of young people.
“The greatness of any society will be determined by how much premium it places on the welfare of its children. This is why we will pay better attention to the rights of our children to basic education and conducive environment to succeed in life”, the statement reads.
The Kwara governor-elect, who pledges that Kwara under his leadership would initiate children-friendly policies, expressed his determination to “help the Kwara child attain their full potentials”.
