Kwara Set to Host Landmark Table Tennis Tournament
The Kwara Open Table Tennis Tournament, eagerly awaited by enthusiasts, has been officially scheduled, as announced by Moyinoluwa Bankole, spokesperson for the organizing committee.
This comprehensive event will feature a wide range of categories, catering to both able-bodied and physically challenged participants, promoting an inclusive environment that celebrates unity and encouragement across diverse age groups and abilities.
“The concept of the program is to encourage generations and showcase the talents of all participants, especially the physically challenged persons,” Bankole stated.
According to Bankole, the upcoming Kwara Open Table Tennis Tournament is poised to be a landmark event, with 28 overall winners set to emerge across various categories. The winners will be awarded as follows: 1st place, 2nd place, and joint 3rd place. She further emphasized that, this structure ensures a thorough recognition of talent across all categories, promoting a level playing field for all participants.
Registration for the tournament will open on August 10. The event aims to attract widespread attention, foster community engagement, and promote sportsmanship and inclusivity throughout the state.
