The Mubarak Opeyemi Lawal Impact Foundation (MOLifoundation) has awarded scholarships to students in Ilorin, Kwara State, as part of its 2025 WAEC and JAMB Scholarships Programme.
The event, held yesterday in Ilorin, brought together education stakeholders, community leaders, and beneficiaries of the scholarship programme.
According to the Education Committee Chairman of MOLifoundation, Mr. Taofeek Alada, the foundation’s focus is on development, particularly through education. “We know we cannot do it all, but we must contribute our quota and hope others can emulate the process,” he said.
The foundation has pledged to monitor the progress of the beneficiaries and ensure they become successful. Additionally, the beneficiary with the best result in JAMB and WAEC will receive special benefits from the foundation.
Guest speakers, including Comrade Moshood Lanre Osho and Tajudeen Habeeb, emphasized the importance of education in eradicating poverty and achieving development. They encouraged the beneficiaries to take their education seriously and avoid shortcuts to success.
Community leaders, including Mallam Murtala Alowonle, President of Pakata Area Development Association (PADA), and Alh Abdulfatai Yusuf, representing development associations from Oloje, Ubandawaki, Adewole, and Alanamu, praised MOLifoundation’s initiatives and impact on the community.
The representative of the Chairman of MOLifoundation, Engr Ayo Abdullahi Olohunoje, thanked everyone for their support and announced that the foundation has lined up a series of impactful projects for 2025, focusing on education, health, and social well-being.
