The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered a faith-based organization, Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries, using its name to deceive the public. The organization, led by Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto, has been advertising “Miracle Water” and “Miracle Soap” with false healing claims, including curing barrenness.
NAFDAC received petitions from concerned citizens and investigated the claims, finding that the products were not registered with the agency. Despite evidence, the organization denied producing the products, and officials refused to cooperate with investigators.
NAFDAC has sealed the factory of Globod Table Water, which was found to be aiding the production and sale of the unregistered products. The agency warns the public to stop patronizing these products and assures Nigerians of its commitment to safeguarding their health.
The Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, emphasized that the agency is guided by scientific facts and will continue to investigate the activities of Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries. She warned faith organizations against illegal production of regulated products without meeting regulatory requirements.
