Former Minister for Aviation Osita Chidoka, Former Executive Secretary NEITI, Waziri Adio, Co-founder/CEO BudgIT Seun Onigbinde are some of the speakers expected to speak at the Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship Bootcamp.
Banke Ajede, the Programme’s Executive Assistant in a statement on Thursday, said other Speakers expected at the Bootcamp include the Author of Madhouse and portrait photographer T.J Benson, Humanitarian and Strategist Sally Suleiman, Founder/CEO Carnation Consults, Dr Aminat Ahmed El-Imam.
According to her, the mentorship Bootcamp is the second in the series for mentees who have completed their first 6-months of intensive learning and sharing during the mentorship programme.
She disclosed that the facilitators at the Bootcamp, will speak on diverse areas including leadership, policy, politics and the Economy, Communication skills, Social media for social good and social impact. The Bootcamp is also expected to feature personality sessions, for mentees to share and learn from the experience of outstanding individuals. She added that the Bootcamp, will also include practical and simulation sessions for mentees.
Ajede reiterated the commitment of the programme to raising a generation of young people who are thought leaders, global thinkers, change makers, impact makers and solution providers in different areas that will contribute to Nigeria’s growth.
The Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship Programme is is the country’s flagship leadership mentorship programme for young people between 18-35.
Since the mentorship programme started, renowned Nigerians who have been invited to speak at the programme include: Maryam Uwais, Special Adviser to the President on Social Investments; Hon. Abike Dabiri, Chairman Nigeria in Diaspora Commission; Murtala Aliyu, Mutawallen Gombe and President Quantity Surveyors Registration Board; Akintunde Oyebode, Ekiti state commissioner for finance and eeconomic development; Chude Jideonwo, Nigerian lawyer and media entrepreneur; Ishaya Bako, filmmaker and movie director; Cheta Nwanze, lead partner, SBM Intelligence.
