The Kwara state coordinator of Kwara Alliance for Buhari Osibajo (KABO) and the Special Assistant to the Vice President on IDP, Mr. Mohammed Brimah Saturday hosts Muslim youths to tafsir and iftar at the organisation’s secretariat located along Fate road in Ilorin. The attendees, mostly young supporters of APC under the umbrella of KABO and the All Progressives Youth Forum (APYF) came from across the 16 local governments for the programme which commenced at exactly 4:00pm.
The guest lecturer at the tafsir, Fadilatul Sheikh Umar Faruq (Sohibul Bayan), who appreciates the organizer for his commitment to the welfare of Kwarans, especially during the hard economic times, urged him not to relent in his good deeds.
The tafsir, which lasted almost three hours, focused significantly on the need for those whom Allah has favored to continue to help the less privileged without any expectation except from Allah. The cleric also prays for the presidential aide and the organizer of the event, Mohammed Brimah, asking God to reward him for his thoughtful interventions and assistance to groups and individuals, before and after the elections.
The cleric thereafter implored muslim faithfuls to redouble their efforts and prayers during the last 10 days of Ramadan. “Whoever establishes the prayers on the night of Laelatul- Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards (not to show off), then all his past sins will be forgiven and his prayers will be answered,” the scholar said.
In his remarks after the programme, Mr. Brimah pleaded with the youths in Kwara State to be patient with the incoming administration and to have the faith that despite the seeming insurmountable challenges, Kwara will work for all.
The presidential aide, who also met with the Ilorin South ward chairmen and youth leaders of APC at the venue of the programme, commended them for their resilience and tenacity all through the period of 2019 electioneering and charged them not to relent in their support for the new government.
The well attended tafsir also had in attendance a number of dignitaries, including a former APC house of representatives aspirant for Ilorin West/Asa federal constituency in the 2019 election, Comrade Ibrahim Alaje and Mr. Mohammed Abdullahi, Chairman of Forum of APYF state coordinators.

It amazes me that the government can be so insensitive to people’s plight.
Despite God’s benevolence to the country
