Saliu Mustapha receives beneficiaries of his empowerment programme, expresses intention to help boost Kwara economy

APC stalwart and frontline aspirant for the party’s national Chairmanship position, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has expressed his intention to help create more entrepreneurs in Kwara in order to boost the economy of the State.

Mustapha, who is also the Chairman of the Saliu Mustapha Foundation said this when he met the beneficiaries of his empowerment programme for SMEs in Kwara State.

As part of activities marking the Eid-el-fitri Celebrations, the Foundation had arranged for the beneficiaries of the empowerment programme sponsored by the politician to meet with him for the first time since they obtained their funding support.

Some of the beneficiaries, who took turns to appreciate Mallam Mustapha, said they were grateful for his support even when he did not know them or their families.

Nasir Abdulqadri, the entrepreneurship consultant engaged to support the traders with trainings in business skills, also expressed delight with the manner in which beneficiaries were selected without any form of bias, saying such “is a sign that Mallam Saliu Mustapha will be a totally different leader when given the opportunity.”

Responding, Mallam Saliu Mustapha charged the beneficiaries to use the funding support offered them to grow their businesses so that they would also be in a position to help others in future.

“I pray that the Almighty Allah will shower His blessings on their businesses. I commend the consultant that trained the beneficiaries on leadership and entrepreneurship skills for doing a thorough job. I believe it will be handy for the beneficiaries,” Mustapha said.

He also used the opportunity to appreciate his loyalists for their unrelenting support and commitment towards the APC ideals.
