Nigerian international Victor Osimhen is set to undergo a medical with Turkish giants Galatasaray on Tuesday ahead of a season-long loan move from Napoli.
The 25-year-old striker will join Galatasaray on a dry loan until June 2025, with the Turkish team covering his salary of €10 million from September to June.
Galatasaray only opened negotiations with Osimhen on Monday, after the Nigerian’s deadline day transfers to Al-Ahli and Chelsea collapsed due to financial reasons.
Osimhen had been frozen out of the squad at Napoli, with new manager Antonio Conte making it clear that he had no future at the Italian club.
The loan move to Galatasaray offers Osimhen a fresh start and a chance to revive his career, with the Turkish team eager to bolster their attacking options for the new season.
If the medical is successful, Osimhen is expected to be unveiled as a Galatasaray player on Tuesday, marking a new chapter in his career.
