The Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje has been restrained by a Federal High Court sitting in Kano from implementing the reports of the state anti-corruption commission on alleged misappropriation by Emir Sanusi.
Justice Obiora Atuegwu Egwuata of the Federal High Court, gave the order yesterday, granting the prayers of Emir Sanusi in a motion ex-parte filed against the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Governor of Kano and the state Attorney General.
The court also restricted the State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission and the State Attorney General Barrister Ibrahim Mukthar from acting on the Preliminary Report of Investigation In Respect of Petition of Financial Misappropriation against Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.
