JAMB Releases 2024 UTME Results Slips, Warns Candidates to Print From Approved CBT Centres

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced that candidates who took the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now obtain their original result slips.

This notification is contained in a statement signed by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s spokesperson, and published on the Board’s official X handle, @JAMBHQ.

According to the statement, the result slips, which feature the candidate’s photograph and advanced security features, can be printed from authorized Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers starting from Monday, July 22, 2024. Candidates are advised to note that result slips cannot be printed from cybercafes or other internet-enabled platforms, and are required to visit approved CBT centers for this purpose.

The board cautioned candidates to utilize only authorized channels for printing their result slips, as fraudulent activities, including attempts to falsify scores, are prevalent.

According to the exam body, these illicit acts are perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals seeking to exploit this process.

“It is essential to recognize that candidates’ scores were previously communicated through the Board’s official short message service (SMS) codes; thus, this physical result slip serves as a secure and verifiable documentation of their actual results. Candidates are strongly advised to exercise vigilance and avoid engaging with unauthorized entities to ensure the authenticity and integrity of their results.”
