The Super Eagles have qualified for the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations, after a scintillating victory over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Villarreal forward, Samuel Chukwueze fired the Eagles ahead in the 27th minute after a fine finsh from a rebound.
The South Africans equalized in the second half courtesy of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) decision.
As both teams prepared for extra time, an unmarked Troost-Ekong tapped in a lose ball into the back of the net with few minutes left to the end of the game.
Nigeria will play the winner between Algeria and Ivory Coast in the semi-final.
