Unknown gunmen have abducted four Turkish construction workers in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ajayi Okasanmi, the Turkish nationals were whisked away at a drinking joint in Gbale village on Saturday night.
The abducted foreigners who were said to be construction workers, were identified as Seyit Keklik (25), Yasin Colak (33), Ergun Yurdakul (35), and Senerapal (40).
On securing the release of the expatriates, Okasanmi noted that the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has dispatched teams under Operation Puff Adder in the area to rescue the workers and fish out perpetrators.
