The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim and other top officials of the Scheme, inspected the remains of Owolabi Precious Ayo, FC/18C/5226, at the National Hospital Morgue Abuja, today, before it was loaded into a waiting ambulance to be sent home to his parents in Zaria.
Owolabi, who was a graduate of Performing Arts from the University of Ilorin, was a serving corps member attached with Channels TV as a reporter.
He was reportedly killed by a stray bullet in the violent confrontation that ensued between Shi’ites protesters and security operatives in Abuja yesterday.
