The National Chairman and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) Omoyele Sowore, has been reportedly arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
The AAC chairman, who recently convened the #RevolutionNow Protests, was reportedly picked up by men of the DSS who invaded his home in the early hours of Saturday.
Sowore had quickly posted a distress tweet at 1:25 am during the invasion which reads, “DSS invades Sowore’s.”
His reported arrest is yet to be confirmed by the DSS, and the reasons yet unclear, although, he was recently spotted with the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.
