The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has felicitated with Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, a distinguished public servant, on his 55th birthday. Born in Anifowoshe, Ubandawaki Ward in Ilorin West, Abdullahi’s journey from a modest beginning to becoming an accomplished public servant is an inspiring testament to hard work and dedication, the party said.
As Nigeria’s former Minister of Youth and Sports, Abdullahi’s leadership brought significant transformation to the nation’s sports sector. His tenure as Kwara State Commissioner for Education introduced the “Every Child Counts” policy, a forward-thinking initiative adopted at the federal level.
The Kwara PDP expressed pride in Abdullahi’s achievements as an author, journalist, technocrat, and politician, bringing honor and pride to the party. The leadership and members of Kwara PDP prayed for Abdullahi’s continued sound health, wisdom, and many more years in service to God and humanity.

As Nigeria’s former Minister of Youth and Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullah’s leadership brought about significant transformation in the nation’s sports sector.His tenure as Kwara State Commissioner for Education also marked a defining period for the state’s educational landscape, with the introduction of the “Every Child Counts” policy, a forward-thinking initiative that has since been adopted at the federal level.
