Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has announced that Kwara State has been granted the hosting rights for the 2024 Best of Nollywood Awards (BON). The governor made the announcement on his social media page, expressing his delight at the opportunity.
According to Gov AbdulRazaq, the hosting rights were received at the Sugar Factory Film Studio in Ilorin, and the state is expected to host over 500 artists, celebrities, influencers, and entertainment industry professionals at the 16th edition of the awards ceremony in November.
The governor emphasized that this development aligns with his administration’s goal of opening up Kwara State to collaborations and opportunities that will drive economic growth and prosperity.
This marks a significant milestone for Kwara State, as it prepares to host one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
