The Dele Shittu Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on empowering women and youth, is launching a comprehensive “Back to School Outreach” program in Kwara State. From September 18 to 20, the foundation will visit schools across the state’s three senatorial districts, providing essential support to approximately 1,400 students.

The program includes payment of school fees for a full academic session and donation of vital school materials such as bags, water bottles, books, sandals, socks and writing materials.

Toyeeb Ibrahim, General Manager of the foundation, emphasized the organization’s commitment to promoting education and improving the lives of young people in Kwara State.

This initiative follows the foundation’s successful collaboration with the Kwara State Ministry of Education earlier this year, which included a statewide oratory contest to celebrate Children’s Day. The contest saw active participation from 60 schools, demonstrating the foundation’s dedication to educational excellence.

The “Back to School Outreach” program is the latest initiative by the DSF to demonstrate its dedication to educational excellence and support for young people in Kwara State.
