The Kwara State Government has announced the immediate closure of Post Office-Emir’s Road for rehabilitation and upgrade works, part of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s urban renewal projects. To minimize disruptions, alternative routes have been designated for road users:
– From Maraba, use the Post Office Flyover
– From Offa Garage, take Zulu Gambari Road
– Other options: Taiwo Isale, Edun, Obo Road, Niger Road, Opomalu, Centre Igboro, Balogun Fulani, and Bolanta Roads.
Engineer Abdulqawiy Olododo, Commissioner for Works and Transport, assured the public that the closure prioritizes residents’ safety and smooth travel. He apologized for potential inconveniences and sought cooperation. Motorists are advised to follow traffic directives and exercise caution.
