Nigerian-born UK-based bodybuilder Samson Dauda has clinched the coveted 2024 Mr. Olympia title, securing the largest prize purse in the sport’s history.
At the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, Dauda outmuscled 14 elite competitors to claim the top spot, capping off an intense 2024 Olympia weekend.
Dauda’s victory was further sweetened by being crowned the People’s Champion, earning an unprecedented $600,000 prize – the largest ever awarded in bodybuilding.
“This is an incredible moment for me, and I’m honored to represent Nigeria and the UK on the world stage,” Dauda said in his victory speech.
