The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced its nominees for various zonal positions in the North Central region. According to a statement by the State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the nominees were unanimously endorsed after a thorough consultation and lobbying process within the party.
The nominees include:
– Prince Madandola Olalekan Basir (MOB): Zonal Treasurer, representing Kwara South and Isin Local Government Area.
– Prince Aremu Olota: Zonal Ex-Officio, representing Kwara Central and Ilorin South Local Government Area.
– Barr. Issa Abubakar: Zonal Legal Adviser, representing Kwara North and Barutten Local Government Area.
These nominees, drawn from the three senatorial districts of the state, embody the principles of equity, inclusion, and competence. They will represent Kwara State at the North Central Zonal Congress scheduled for January 23, 2025.
The Kwara PDP has expressed gratitude to its members at the local government and ward levels for their peaceful conduct during the nomination process. As the party moves forward with its #RescueKwara project, it encourages all members to remain committed to reclaiming the state for the benefit of its people by 2027.
