ASKOMP writes Gov. Abdulrazaq, Saraki, Wale Suleiman, Olododo, Saliu Mustapha, Gobir, Hakeem Lawal, others
The Association of Kwara State Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) has written financial solicitation letter to Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Sen. Bukola Saraki, Prof. Wale Suleiman, Waziri Yakubu Gobir, Sen. Saliu Mustapha, Alh. Hakeem Lawal, Hon. Gani Cook-Olododo among others.
According to the letter obtained by newsmen in Ilorin this morning, it reads: “We write on behalf of a respected Ex-Student Leader, Imam Ahmed whose son Imam Abdulhayy Modibbo was diagnosed of WAARDENBURG SYNDROME – a developmental disorder which causes hearing loss, amongst other symptoms at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) when he was 2 years 7 months old.
“Abdulhayy is now 4 years 6 months old and all prescribed medication applied to correct the syndrome in the last one and half years have yielded no positive results.
“According to University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), corrective surgery and treatment; Cochlear implant and other medical rehabilitation must be carried out before he clocks 5 years old, which is due in 4 months time.
“The total amount required for the corrective surgery and treatment is Ten Million, Five Hundred Naira (#10,500,000).
