Abdullahi joins Sweden Political Head on the Screening Panel of “30 Points of Light”

A panel of five distinguished judges has been selected by I Choose Life Foundation (ICLF), organizers of the “30 Points of Light” Awards. The judges are:

– Mr. Muhammed Abdullahi, Chief of Staff to the Honourable Minister of State for Youth Development

– Mr. Fredrick Ahsberg, Head of Political and Trade Section, Embassy of Sweden in Nigeria

– Mrs. Stephanie O. Adams-Douglas, Programme and Project Manager and Development Strategist, Centre for Journalism, Innovation and Development

– Hon. Chi Dika, Author, Social Commentator, and Politician

– Ms. Praise Okwuchi, Communication Executive (Bilingual) and Founder, Periodot School of Languages

They will evaluate the achievements of 30 outstanding young Nigerians under 35 who have demonstrated remarkable courage, resilience, or selflessness.

ICLF, a youth-driven NGO founded in 2018, aims to promote innovative ideas for preventing substance use and mental health disorders among young people aged 13-35.

The 2024 nominees fall into various categories, including:

Humanitarian

– Tunde Onakoya, renowned chess player and world record holder

– Ben Kingsley

– Gabriel Adamu

– Joshua Gbenga Dada

– Eze Sunday Victor

– Josiah Ezekiel

– Fidelis Maikano Gadi

Advocacy and Activism

– Maryam Bukar Hassan, celebrated poet and motivational speaker

– Aliyu Suleiman

– Emmanuel Fadipe

– Eunice Uchechi

– Miranda Emmanuel

– Fasasi Sodiq

– Onihale Esther Oluwatoyin

– Oluwaseyi Jesuton

– Amina Abubakar

– Suleiman Mustafa

– Penner Paul Adedoyin

– Samira Bello

– Moses Abolade

– Ifeoma Solanke

– Ayoola Akinwunmi

This prestigious award celebrates the outstanding contributions of these young individuals.

This year’s edition of the ICLF Awards is held in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, led by Honourable Minister Mr. Ayodele Olawande, and the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria and Ghana, Her Excellency Ms. Annuja Haln Englund.
