Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, father of renowned musician Davido, on behalf of the other Adelekes has made a generous donation of N1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in memory of his late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke. The donation was presented during a thanksgiving service held at the church’s headquarters in Lagos on Sunday.
Adeleke, who donated the sum to the Centenary Endowment Fund, stated, “We donate a sum of N1 billion in honour of our late mum.” The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, who delighted the crowd with his impressive dance moves, becoming a highlight of the event.
Other notable attendees included Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The donation is a testament to Dr. Adeleke’s commitment to giving back and honoring his late mother’s legacy.
