A Prince from the Agunloye Ruling House, Ismail Bukola Ladigbolu, has called on his brothers to put aside their differences and support the newly appointed Alaafin-designate, Prince Akeem Abimbola Owoade.

Prince LLadigbolu while speaking with the press recently emphasized the importance of unity among the Agunloye families, citing the strong bond between Muslims and Christians in the family. He reminisced about the close relationship between his family and the Owoade family, highlighting the spirit of brotherhood that has been passed down through generations.

Prince Ladigbolu congratulated the Alaafin-designate and wished him a peaceful and successful reign. He appealed to his brothers to support the new monarch, stating that the development of Oyo Town and Yorubaland should take precedence over individual ambitions.

“No ambition is bigger than Oyo,” Prince Ladigbolu said. “Oyo is bigger than anybody’s ambition. Every Agunloye Prince should therefore support the new Oba to succeed.”

He urged his brothers to allow the love and unity that exists between their families to continue, and to come together to support the new Alaafin.
