Akpabio, Jibrin, others pay condolence visit to Saraki

On Tuesday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio led a delegation of senators on a condolence visit to former Senate President Bukola Saraki, following the passing of his mother, Florence Saraki, on June 18th. The delegation included Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senators Saliu Mustapha, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, and Benson Friday Konbowei. They gathered at Saraki’s Abuja residence to pay their respects and offer condolences.

Saraki expressed his gratitude on social media (X handle), sharing photos of the visit and welcoming the senators to his residence. In his post, he wrote:

“Grateful to receive His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau, Deputy Senate President, and other distinguished senators at my Abuja residence today, as they paid their respects and offered condolences on the loss of my mother.”
