BCSS’s Old Students Association Elects New Leadership

The Old Students Association of Baboko Community Secondary School, Ilorin, has announced its new leadership team, following the Annual General meeting held on November 17, 2024, at the school premises. Dr. Abdulrraheem Murtala, Personal Assistant to the Emir of Ilorin, takes the reins as National President, while University of Ilorin lecturer Dr. Ridwanullah Oniye assumes the role of National Secretary.

The new leadership team comprises 13 executive members, including:

– National President: Dr. Abdulrraheem Murtala

– National Vice President I: Mrs. Asiat Ayobola Saidu

– National Vice President II: Mr. Lukman Abubakar Bala

– Treasurer I: Abdullahi Ahmed Adekunle

– Treasurer II: Mashood Kehide

– Financial Secretary: Reuben Okediji

– PRO I: Mustapha Abdullahi

– PRO II: Bakare Wasiu Ayinla

– Welfare Officer I: Kudirat Aderemi Kareem

– Welfare Officer II: Shuaib Husseinat Kehinde

– Membership Officer: Abdulhakeem Olorunoje

– Assistant General Secretary: Prince Temitope Akolo

– General Secretary: Dr. Ridwanullahi Kolapo Oniye

Dr. Oniye expressed gratitude on behalf of the new leadership, promising to surpass expectations and breathe new life into the association.

Established in 1978, Baboko Community Secondary School has a rich history, and the new leadership team is poised to build on this legacy. According to Dr Oniye, the association’s focus will be on enhancing alumni engagement, supporting the school’s development, and fostering community growth.
