Sheikh Hamad Labeeb during the naming ceremony of Hon Razaq Owolabi’s son, Mohammad Toha Olatunbosun Dantala has advised politicians in Kwara State to follow the example of Hon. Owolabi in promoting Governor AbdulRazaq’s image.
Sheikh Labeeb and other Islamic clerics offered prayers for the newborn and his parents, emphasizing the importance of good home training in shaping the child’s future as a responsible citizen. Sheikh Labeeb praised Hon. Owolabi’s representation of his people, urging others to follow his example in promoting the governor’s image.
The ceremony drew a multitude of high-profile guests, including Kwara State Deputy Governor, Kayode Alabi, and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu. The event, held at Arca Santa Arena in Ilorin, brought together friends, family, and well-wishers from across the country.
The ceremony also featured games and competitions among guests from Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun local government areas. Hon. Owolabi also presented gifts to people living with disabilities (PLWDs) from his constituency. Popular Fuji musician, Taye Currency, entertained the guests with music.
Other notable attendees included Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Medical Sciences, Prof. Wale Sulaiman; representatives of Senator Saliu Mustapha, Barr. Abdulkareem Alabi; the Commissioner for Education, Hadjia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu; and former Kwara State Commissioner for Finance, Olasumbo Florence.
