On Monday in Ilorin, Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, officially launched the residents’ registration exercise of the Kwara State Residents’ Registration Agency (KWASRRA), aimed at collecting vital data from all residents in the state.
Speaking to a packed audience at the Kwara State Banquet Hall, the Governor emphasized that the primary objective of the registration exercise is to establish a comprehensive and reliable database of all residents, which will inform planning, resource allocation, and security strategies.
“With the right data, we can plan for today and make fair projections for the future. With reliable data, we will know who is employed and who is not, and further deploy resources to tackle other challenges of development.”
Governor AbdulRazaq appealed to all residents of Kwara State to participate in the registration exercise by presenting themselves at the designated locations.
“My team and I have presented ourselves for registration. I urge every resident of Kwara to also make themselves available for the data capturing exercise at designated centres and time. When you do that, you are contributing your own quota to sustainable growth and development.”
