Nigerian business magnate Aliko Dangote has revealed his disappointment at not acquiring Arsenal Football Club, an English Premier League team.
In a recent statement, Dangote expressed his longstanding admiration for the club and his past interest in purchasing it. However, the deal never materialized.
“I regret not buying Arsenal,” Dangote said, citing the club’s rich history and massive global following.
Dangote’s interest in Arsenal dates back to 2010, but negotiations stalled due to various reasons.
