The Chairman of Kwara United Football Club, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, has confirmed that the team will continue to play their home games at the Kwara State Stadium in Ilorin, despite rumors suggesting otherwise.
Titiloye reassured fans and stakeholders that the club is committed to the state stadium, and any misinformation on social media should be disregarded.
The club is awaiting an inspection team from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) following maintenance work carried out on the stadium’s infrastructure. Titiloye expressed optimism that the stadium will meet NPFL standards, citing renovations and repairs undertaken by the government to adhere to international standards.
Kwara United fans can look forward to cheering their team on at the familiar venue, with the club’s commitment to the state stadium reaffirmed.
