Health
The MOK Foundation firmly believes in the importance of healthcare, as evident in its motto, “Health is wealth.” In 2024, the foundation partnered with primary health centers to provide essential healthcare services to those in need. Through this collaboration, the foundation covered healthcare expenses for over 3,000 beneficiaries.
One notable example of the foundation’s impact is the story of Mustapha Aliu, a young man who faced a life-threatening illness. The MOK Foundation donated ₦500,000 for Mustapha’s urgent surgery, saving his life.
Education
The MOK Foundation is committed to upholding consistency and credibility in education across Kwara State and beyond. In 2024, the foundation organized an impactful education summit, awarding full WAEC scholarships to 130 underprivileged students in Offa and Oyun LGAs.
The foundation also covered JAMB registration fees for over 250 underprivileged students, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to empowering the youth through education.
Agriculture
In 2024, the MOK Foundation took a significant step towards enhancing job provision and empowering communities through agriculture. The foundation purchased 50 hectares of land dedicated to farming activities, aiming to boost agricultural production and create sustainable livelihoods for the local population.
The foundation also distributed farm inputs to underprivileged individuals throughout Kwara, donated tractors to local farmers, and provided sprayers and agricultural chemicals to over 200 farmers.
Empowerment
In 2024, the MOK Foundation made a significant commitment to supporting small-scale traders and underprivileged communities across Kwara State. The foundation allocated substantial resources, providing at least ₦15,000 to every individual in this initiative, benefiting a total of 30 participants each week in Offa.
The foundation’s initiatives extended beyond Offa, reaching individuals in various local government areas throughout Kwara State.
Community Development
The MOK Foundation has consistently prioritized community development, and its impactful initiatives in 2024 serve as a testament to this commitment. The foundation donated solar lights to over 100 transformers, ensuring improved energy access.
In response to a devastating fire at the Owode Market in Offa, the foundation donated ₦50,000 to each of the victims, providing essential financial support to help them rebuild their livelihoods.
The MOK Foundation also undertook the construction and drilling of motorized boreholes in various communities, addressing the critical need for clean and accessible water.
