Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Tems has added another prestigious award to her collection, securing her second Grammy Award at the 67th Recording Academy Awards 2025.
Her chart-topping single “Love Me Jeje” emerged victorious in the highly competitive Best African Music Performance category, beating out strong contenders including Burna Boy, Asake, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, and Davido.
Notably, Chris Brown was the only non-Afrobeats nominee in the category, further highlighting the genre’s growing global influence.
This latest achievement solidifies Tems’ position as one of Africa’s most successful and celebrated music exports, cementing her status as a global icon in the music industry.
