The Minister for Youth Development, Hon Ayodele Olawande, has inaugurated a Technical Committee for the establishment of a Youth Bank. This initiative is a key part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts to empower Nigeria’s youth and unlock their full potential. 
The Technical Committee, comprising representatives from the Bank of Industry, Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal Ministry of Finance, Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority, and the Ministry of Youth Development, will play a crucial role in creating a platform for young people to access financial support, resources, and mentorship.
According to the Minister, the committee’s primary task is to lay the groundwork for the Youth Bank, ensuring transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability. The Minister expressed his confidence in the committee’s ability to build an institution that will sustainably support the Nigerian youth.
