Following the affirmation of Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s victory at the 2018 Osun gubernatorial polls, by the Supreme Court earlier this morning, supporters of the Osun State governor stormed the premises of the Court to jubilate the ruling.
The Supreme Court in its ruling, dismissed Senator Ademola Adeleke’s appeal challenging the judgment of the Court of Appeal which set aside the ruling of the election petition tribunal which had earlier declared Adeleke winner of the polls.
The Supreme Court, by a majority judgment of five to two members of its panel, upheld the election victory of the incumbent governor.
