Mr. Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, has expressed confidence that the president’s team will be fully prepared for the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at a press briefing at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, Bwala emphasized that President Tinubu remains focused on delivering on his campaign promises, rather than getting distracted by conversations about the upcoming election cycle.
According to Bwala, the administration is committed to effective governance and improving the lives of Nigerians. He noted that President Tinubu’s agenda is already yielding positive results, which will naturally endear Nigerians to vote for him again in 2027.
Bwala also highlighted that President Tinubu is constitutionally qualified to contest for a second term, and expressed hope that he will pursue his mandate as provided by the Constitution, God willing.
In a statement that has been seen as a warning to potential opponents, Bwala declared, “The time for politicking is not yet here, and when that time comes, we will be ready for everyone.”
