President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of seven Nigerians to lead key agencies and initiatives within the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
The appointees include:
1. Dr. Badamasi Lawal as Chief Executive Officer of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA)
2. Ms. Funmilola Olotu as Programme Manager of the National Social Safety-Net Coordinating Office
3. Ms. Aishat Alubankudi as Programme Manager of the Grant for Vulnerable Groups
4. Princess Aderemi Adebowale as Programme Manager of the Home Grown School Feeding
5. Mr. Abdullahi Alhassan Imam as Programme Manager of the National Cash Transfer Office
6. Mr. Ayuba Gufwan as Executive Secretary of the National Commission for People with Disabilities
7. Ms. Lami Binta Adamu Bello as Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons
These appointees bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles, with backgrounds in education, business administration, community development, accountancy, law, and public administration.
Their appointments are expected to strengthen the ministry’s efforts in addressing humanitarian issues, disaster management, and social development in Nigeria.
