President Bola Tinubu is set to address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am. The President’s media office has announced that the broadcast will be transmitted live on various media platforms.
Television and radio stations are advised to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to air the broadcast. The address will be repeated at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day on the NTA and FRCN networks.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, made the announcement on August 3, 2024. Nigerians are encouraged to tune in to the broadcast to hear the President’s address to the nation.
No further details have been released on the content of the President’s address, but it is expected to be in connection with the ongoing #EndBadGovernance nationwide protests.
