In a shocking turn of events, Prince Adekunle Oyedepo, the founder of The Adekunle Oyedepo Foundation, has officially tendered his resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). This sudden move was revealed through a formal letter addressed to Hon. Segun Abegunde, the Chairman of Ifaja Ward in Irepodun local government area of Kwara State, where Prince Oyedepo had been a member.
Citing a desire to focus on personal development, Oyedepo expressed that this decision came after significant contemplation.
“After considerable reflection, I have decided to step away from my political affiliations to dedicate more time to my personal development,” Oyedepo stated.
The Prince stressed that his decision to leave the PDP was not taken lightly, acknowledging the valuable experiences and lessons learned during his time in the party. In his resignation letter, he clarified that his departure from politics does not mean an end to his community service efforts.
Oyedepo reaffirmed his dedication to humanitarian work, expressing his continued passion for making a positive difference in people’s lives through various charitable and community-based initiatives.
