Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central, has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearers for the upcoming Local Government elections in the state.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Senator Mustapha commended the candidates for their dedication and commitment to the party’s ideals, urging all party members to rally behind them for a resounding victory at the polls.
The congratulatory message comes after the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) released the official list of cleared candidates on Tuesday.
Senator Mustapha emphasized the need to sustain the landslide success recorded in the 2023 general elections and encouraged the electorate to participate actively in the democratic process.
As the Turaki of Ilorin, Senator Mustapha charged the candidates to work towards the development and progress of their respective local government areas, stressing the importance of unity and collaboration within the party.
